Saint Joseph was Jesus’ foster father and was a loving and protective father to Jesus.This is Saint Joseph at work.
Saint Joseph, who lived as a carpenter, holds a long piece of wood in his arms and an axe in his other hand. The small details of his hand, with the veins rising out of it, are sculpted realistically.From this sculpture, we can feel the humility, kindness and responsibility of Saint Joseph.
