Where is our lady of Sheshan statue?

Our lady of Sheshan statue is a famous Catholic church in the Shanghai area. It was first built by French missionaries in 1871, and after several renovations, the current church was expanded in 1925.
Built by French missionaries in 1933, it enjoys the same status as Notre Dame Cathedral and St. Paul’s Cathedral in the Catholic world.
The church is a European “Baroque” style building. Some building materials and decorations adopt traditional Chinese architectural techniques, which is the crystallization of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures.

The history of our lady of Sheshan statue:

On May 24, 1868 (Feast of Our Lady of Blessing of the Advancement), Hundreds of pilgrims came to Sheshan. Soon after the Jiangnan church case occurred, the acting bishop Gu Zhensheng of the Jesuit Society of Shanghai convened a meeting of all priests and made a wish to our lady of sheshan statue. This proposal was unanimously approved immediately. As soon as Father Gu Zhensheng left the meeting, he went straight to our lady of sheshan statue and made this vow to his loving mother. The loving mother cannot refuse the fervent prayers of her beloved sons. A few days later, according to the prosecutor’s office, he visited President Gu in person at the church office and promised to protect the holy religion. As a result, the tide of hatred was calmed. President Gu and the priests under the shade of this wonderful mother must be grateful to our lady of sheshan statue and vowed to the Virgin. This is the cause of our lady of sheshan statue. After receiving the great grace of the Blessed Virgin, the faithful donated enthusiastically to assist in the construction of the church. Our lady of sheshan statue also rose up.
