Large Figure Riding on the Horse St George Church Decoration
St. George was a famous martyr and saint of Christianity. He often appears in western literature, sculpture, painting and other fields as a dragon slayer hero. A knight in armor, carrying the sword of Ascalon, rides on a white horse and kills a dragon. The blood of the dragon forms a huge cross on the ground, which becomes the flag of St. George. This is known as St. George’s Slay the Dragon. He stabbed the dragon on horseback with a spear. This is a very famous sculpture, which is suitable for placing in a large square, so that more people can know the story.
